John Holmes has been a SLDC Councillor for Lyth Valley since 2010 and serves on the Planning, Licencing and Windermere Lake Committees. He was elected Treasurer in March 2015.

Bill has been involved in Town politics for many years and has just stepped down from the Town Council after 35 years having been Mayor of the Town on three occasions.  He is a County Councillor for Grange and the Deputy Chairman Political for the Association.He was born in South Cumbria and has lived and worked in the area most of his life. He comes from a local farming family. His Grandfathers and Father before him were farmers.

James is the Leader of the Conservative Group at the County Council and represents Ulverston West. Kevin is the District Councillor for Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale.  He also topped the poll in the recent Parish Council elections in Sedbergh. His family has been living in the area for more than 100 years, and Kevin has continued the family farming business. In his spare time Kevin is a keen local historian and is on the committee of the Sedbergh and District History Society.
