Tom and his wife moved to Cumbria from Bristol in 2023, after the youngest of their 4 children had left home to go to university. Tom joined the Westmorland and Lonsdale Conservatives shortly after moving to the area.
Tom says: “I love this area, which is why we chose to move here and spend the rest of our lives here. I joined the local Conservative Association because I believe in Conservative values of personal responsibility, community and sound economic growth as the necessary preconditions for improving our lives, our standards of living and our future. This region and this country could be so much better and I believe in this Conservative Party to make that happen.
