The County Council have put out a public consultation on the County Budget for 2013-14 with options for Council savings and with a potential increase of 2% or a zero rate increase if we take the Governments offer of help.
The County Council will be setting the budget and precept in February and the Conservative Group on the Council will be supporting a ZERO rate rise. We feel in these severe economic times we should not be imposing any more expenses on already very stretched family budgets
Hopefully the building of the Medical Centre will be starting shortly now that all the legal and financial problems have been resolved.
